ITEM OF THE WEEK

The Diptyque store first began in Paris 1961, at 34 boulevard Saint-Germain, by three friends. Originally opening as a fabric store to show case their love of fabrics, it wasn't until 1963 they began to explore their love of fragrances.

I recently moved apartments and as a house-warming gift was given one of these amazing scented candles. The classic Baies scent recalls a bouquet of roses and blackcurrant leaves, a companion to diptyque eau de toilette, L'Ombre dans l'Eau, which I must add I have and makes everything smell divine! This candle is by far one of my most favorite purchases this month.
