Tonight I had a surprise visit from my best friend Deni, freelance super-stylist, who decided to grill me on my fashion obsessions and raid my closet and bedroom at the same time.

The Diptyque store first began in Paris 1961, at 34 boulevard Saint-Germain, by three friends. Originally opening as a fabric store to show case their love of fabrics, it wasn't until 1963 they began to explore their love of fragrances.

I recently moved apartments and as a house-warming gift was given one of these amazing scented candles. The classic Baies scent recalls a bouquet of roses and blackcurrant leaves, a companion to diptyque eau de toilette, L'Ombre dans l'Eau, which I must add I have and makes everything smell divine! This candle is by far one of my most favorite purchases this month.
