HELP!

I AM IN NEED OF SERIOUS HELP! 
I am in dire need of updating my camera and don't have a clue when it comes to all this technical stuff,  I usually leave it all for my dad! So I've had a little look around and am thinking of either Canon EOS 5D or stay and upgrade my Nikon...
WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS??

    the 5D is amazing - you should definitely consider it. I've been using it for a while now. It is super user friendly too
