This amazing piece of modern art beats Karl and his 2007 documentary, 'Lagerfeld Confidential', by far. Don't get me wrong, I love Karl Lagerfeld and his amazing Chanel creations, he just doesn't give me that buzz like Marc does. Nothing personal at all.

Movies about artists are common enough, but rarely does one provide such insight on the fashion world and its artistic process.
Yes, ok, so I realize that I am 4 or so years behind with this documentary but do i care? Not in the slightest, at least i can enjoy it NOW! This in-depth look into the fashion world, Marc Jacobs world, Louis Vuitton world, defiantly sets this documentary apart from others. Marc is the first American designer to be creative-director of the Paris fashion house, Louis Vuitton, the documentary shows us how and why he and his designs are so brilliant and successful. Watching Marc Jacobs puff away on endless amounts of Marlboro cigarettes, as bad as it sounds, is actually quite enjoyable. This is a must watch for all.

Are you sick of being down in the dumps? Get rid of those 'winter blues' by taking note of these 5 must-haves to help you get through the long cold days and nights.
  1. Fashion - Knitwear is massive this winter and will definitely keep you warm through the day and night. Oversized, chunky, textured cardigans and jackets are a wardrobe must.
  2. Shoes - Guys, boots have made a return. On a recent trip to Sydney i fell in love with these superb leather boots which i wear all the time now. They can be worn with skinny-leg jeans, or oversize pants and tucked into the boot. Girls, grab yourself a pair of clogs. If you haven't already made your mind up whether you're a fan or not, then listen to this. At first when one of my girlfriend's said she was purchasing a pair of clogs i laughed in her face. I couldn't understand as to why clogs were 'in'. After being dragged along to Gorman, i finally understood why females are going crazy for clogs. What a genius idea to transform the typical clog to a style with straps and studs etc. Clogs are chic, they are a must, whether they're worn with knee-length socks, stockings, bare legged, pants, skirts, or dresses.
  3. Accessories - Winter accessories are my one true love. Adding that extra item can either make or break an outfit. Chunky, knitted, oversized scarves are one of my must haves this winter/spring. When are beanies not 'in'? Not only do they keep your head warm, but they look great on girls and guys. There are so many styles, colors and patterns around. Fingerless gloves are no longer the shabby look, they keep your fingers toasty while giving your outfit a chic yet casual feel.
  4. Beauty - Nude lips are fresh and a necessity for guys and girls. Guys, try Blistex Lip Ointment which conditions and prevents cracked lips, while also taking away redness to create a nude look. Girls, try out MAC Cosmetics Lip Conditioner.
  5. Homewears - Recently a friend bought me a Diptyque candle. Diptyque was founded in 1961 Pairs, by three friends. The sent of Black-current and Romanian Rose fills my room constantly. These candles are to die for.

FILMING TV COMMERCIAL

image

I was up and ready for action @ 5am this mrning. Like, who wakes up that early, besides the Sunrise crew, sersly not me ever. Today was the only exception because i was being filmed as an extra for a TV Commercial. Super fun, filmed from like 9am till 7:30pm. OHHHHH BOYYYY it’s tiring work being filmed. Stay tuned for the commercial, when it airs i shall post it up.
Then rushed straight to THE awards night of nights. Champagne was free-flow. OhhhGosh, bad idea. Great company and friends around.
Fun day/night I’m pooped.

ITEM OF THE WEEK

Grown Vanilla & Orange Peel Hand Cream is such a nifty product. I have always been told I have soft hands. Well, the secret is now out Bitchesss! This cream is genius, it's non-greasy formula literally soothes and softens terrible skin. Not only can you use it as a hand cream, but on feet, knees or a all-over-body lotion.

Fur.

Would you rather go naked than wear fur? I'd like to think that most people, except those who have views such as People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), would rather wear fur, or at least have an appreciation for it.
My close friend has a huge passion for fur and is often overwhelmed with excitement and joy when she sees a fur coat or fur cropped jacket.
"..look at this amazing fur jacket.. this is the one that i've been looking for, i must have it.."
Even though i would never wear fur myself, unless it's to a dress-up party, i share the same excitement that my friend has. We both get a tad over-excited whenever we see fur, be it in a magazine, on the shoulders of the lady across the road, styled in one of the latest Vogue or Grazia photo shoots, or in our local vintage store, etc.
Yes, they may all look the same and feel the same to you, but to my friend each jacket is never the same, one week it's a leopard fur knee-length coat, then the next it's a cropped brown faux fur jacket. That could be the jacket that i make her wear to the next party, her next date, or even down to the supermarket. Fur is timeless and can be worn anywhere. It completes a look, and doesn't necessarily have to be for the Royal.
